Sampling Plan Analyzer Help System

Getting Started

With Sampling Plan Analyzer, you can evaluate an existing sampling plan or select a new sampling plan:

To Evaluate An Existing Sampling Plan:
  • Click on the Enter New Plan button to display the Enter New Sampling Plan dialog box shown below:

  • Select the characteristic and type of your existing sampling and click the OK button. A dialog box like the one below will be displayed for entering the parameters of your sampling plan.
    ·

  • Enter the parameters of your sampling plan and click the OK button. Your existing sampling plan will now be displayed in the List Sampling Plans window along with some summary information such as what the sampling plan will routinely accept (AQL) and what the plan will routinely reject (LTPD).

  • For a more detailed evaluation, click on the Evaluate Plan button. The Evaluation window will be displayed showing the OC curve, ASN curve, AOQ curve and much more.

    To Select A New Sampling Plan:
  • Click on the Select New Plan button to display the Select New Sampling Plan dialog box shown below:

  • Select the characteristic and the types of sampling plans you would like to select.

  • Enter what you would like to routinely accept under the AQL and you would like to routinely reject under the LTPD.
    ·
  • Click the Select button to select the sampling plans. When completed, the plans will be displayed in the List Sampling Plans window.
