Plans Menu

Contains the following menu items which duplicate the function of many of the buttons in the List Sampling Plans window. All these menu items can also be found on the toolbar:

 Enter New Sampling Plan: Enter a new sampling plan by specifying the characteristic and type and then entering the parameters. Displays the Enter New Sampling Plan dialog box to complete the task.

 Select New Sampling Plans: Select new sampling plans by specifying the characteristic, types and the desired protection. Displays the Select New/Matching Sampling Plans dialog box to complete the task.

 Evaluate Sampling Plans: Evaluates protection and costs of those sampling plans that are checked in the List Sampling Plans window. Displays the results in an Evaluation window. All the checked sampling plans must be for the same characteristic so that the OC curves, etc. can be overlaid.

 Match Protection: Selects alternative sampling plans matching the protection of the selected (highlighted) sampling plan in the List Sampling Plans window. Displays the Select New/Matching Sampling Plans dialog box to complete the task.

Edit Selected Sampling Plan: Used to edit the selected (highlighted) sampling plan in the List Sampling Plans window. Displays the appropriate dialog box for editing the parameters. A short cut is to double click on the sampling plan in the List Sampling Plans window.

 Duplicate Sampling Plan: Makes a copy of the selected (highlighted) sampling plan in the List Sampling Plans window and adds the copy to the end of the list.

 Delete Sampling Plan: Deletes the selected (highlighted) sampling plan in the List Sampling Plans window after prompting for confirmation.

 Check All: Checks all the sampling plans in the List Sampling Plans window. Afterwards, individual sampling plans can be unchecked by clicking on the square in the first column.

 Uncheck All: Unchecks all the sampling plans in the List Sampling Plans window. Afterwards, individual sampling plans can be checked by clicking on the square in the first column.
