Analysis Menu



Contains the following menu items:

Fast Change-Point Analysis: Performs a change-point analysis using the default options.  Before selecting this menu item, the data to be analyzed must be selected in the Data window.  The analysis does not rank the data nor use labels.  If you want to specify any of these options, you should select the Custom Change-Point Analysis menu item instead.  Shortcuts are to click the Fast Change-Point Analysis button on the toolbar or to click the Fast Analysis button in the Data window.

Custom Change-Point Analysis: Displays the Custom Analysis submenu for specifying analysis options.  Menu items exist for specifying Rank, CV or both options are to be used when performing the analysis.  Selecting any of these menu items immediately starts the analysis with all other options set to default.  Before selecting this menu item, the data to be analyzed must be selected in the Data window.  The last menu item displays the Custom Analysis dialog box allowing complete control over the data selected, headers, labels and analysis options.  Shortcuts are to click the Custom Analysis button on the toolbar or to click the Custom Analysis button in the Data window.

Use Selected Row or Column for Labels: If a column or row is selected when this menu item is selected, it will be used for labels.  A label icon will be added to the header of that column or row to indicate it has been selected.  If an entire column or row is not selected, any previous selection will be cleared. Shortcuts are to click Label button on the toolbar or to click the Label button in the Data window.

Advanced Options: Displays the Advanced Options dialog box for specifying advanced options such as the confidence levels and number of bootstrap samples.  Shortcuts are to click the Advanced Options button on the toolbar or the Advanced button in the Custom Analysis dialog box.

Display Toolbar: By default, the toolbar is displayed.  This menu item can be used to remove the toolbar.

Display Tabs at Bottom: By default, the tabs in the Analysis Results window are displayed at the bottom.  Some users have reported that the text on these tabs does not always appear.  This menu item can be used to move the tabs to the top of the window were the text is always visible.
